Telefilm Canada announced its production funding slate of 20 English-language features, including 9 Light Entertainment’s upcoming The Wishing Tree by writer-director Laura Adamo.

The Wishing Tree, directed and written by Laura Adamo with Pasha Patriki producing through 9 Light Entertainment and big woo woo, is one of 20 English-language projects supported through Telefilm’s Production Program for films with budgets under $2.5 million.
The cycle saw 136 applications processed across the program. Total investment across the lineup exceeds $7 million.
