Deadline’s Valerie Complex broke the exclusive on Well Go USA Entertainment acquiring North American rights to You Gotta Believe — the Little League baseball film starring Luke Wilson and Greg Kinnear, with 9 Light Entertainment’s Pasha Patriki among the producers.

Directed by Ty Roberts (12 Mighty Orphans), You Gotta Believe is based on the true story of an overlooked Fort Worth youth baseball team that dedicated its season to a teammate’s ailing father and rode that Cinderella run all the way to the 2002 Little League World Series. The cast includes Wilson, Kinnear, Sarah Gadon (Ferrari), Etienne Kellici, Molly Parker (Deadwood), Patrick Renna (The Sandlot), and newcomer Michael Cash.
The film was produced and financed under the Santa Rita Film Co. banner led by Houston Hill, with producers Matt Harvey, Pasha Patriki, and Byron Campbell. Well Go USA slated You Gotta Believe for a wide North American theatrical release on August 30, 2024.
