Saul Hudson — better known as Slash, the British-American lead guitarist of Guns N’ Roses — has launched a horror production banner called BerserkerGang. The new venture is being formed in partnership with horror genre veterans Michael Paszt, James Fler and Andrew T. Hunt of Raven Banner; filmmaker Rodrigo Gudiño, founder of Rue Morgue magazine; and producer Pasha Patriki of Hangar 18 Media.

The collaboration grew out of the team’s recent work on the Nick Cutter-scripted thriller “The Breach,” which Patriki produced at Hangar 18 with Slash credited as composer and executive producer. “The Breach” premiered at Fantasia in 2022 and later played the UK’s FrightFest. No BerserkerGang titles have been announced, though details on the banner’s first project are expected to emerge at Cannes in May. The company’s slogan: “Films Forged in Fury.”

“The aim of BerserkerGang will be quality over quantity.”
